In response to the request of her readers worldwide, merakiめらき has decided to turn the webpages of her blog into a series of novels. "Letters to God: A Confession from a Lost Sheep" is now out in five different volumes, each winning awards and citations from known international institutions such as the Christopher Awards and Newbery Medals and Honors. The series has already been published in 87 languages, including Yiddish and Greek.

merakiめらき also authored other award-winning titles such as "Lost Memories", "Happiness", and "A Day in our Life". She also co-wrote the scripts for box-office hits "Loving-Laughing-Living" and "The Adventure of Life".

merakiめらき now lives in Tokyo, Japan with her husband and two children.
